Neighborhood Watch Reports Burglary
House in Sherman Oaks was burglarized during the day at a time when a film crew was working on the street, with security guards present.
The Neighborhood Watch north of the 101 Freeway reports a burglary and house ransacked on the 5700 block of Stansbury in Sherman Oaks on Tuesday afternoon.
The victim reports that a film crew was working on the street, with security guards but so far there are no witnesses. Here is a message sent to members of the neighborhood watch.
I wanted to let you know there was a break in at a home on Stansbury
between Collins and Hatteras streets. Â It happened (Tuesday)Â today during the
morning to early afternoon hours. Â They got into the back yard and kicked in the back door and entered through the garage. Â Two doors, both with locks. Â They ransacked the house tossing everything, TV's on the floors, going through papers in desks, etc. Â Money was taken, TV's and computers left as if in a hurry. Â They left through the front door with all the neighbors at home and a film crew on the street. Â It is a bit strange as the film crew had been there on the corner of Hatteras and Stansbury since 6:30am. Â They also had a security guard there over night.
