New Musical Production Opens at Whitefire

The following is an edited press release from Stillson Works. 

I Remember Lou, a classical Broadway style musical, will be opening on June 1 at the Whitefire Theatre in Sherman Oaks and running through July 8. 

I Remember Lou is a musical comedy that incorporates sing-a-long songs, eclectic dance numbers and live music, which follows main character Lou Goldfarb as he seeks the right balance of religious upbringing, idealism and love for his family.

The Whitefire Theatre is located at 13500 Ventura Blvd. Sherman Oaks, CA, between Woodman Avenue and Coldwater Canyon. The information line is 818-990-2324.

Friday and Saturday shows are at 8 p.m. and Sunday shows are at 3 p.m. There are 90 seats and the production is open seating.

With the promotion code IDEALISM, tickets are $23 each.  

I Remember Lou was written by Alan Stillson. The music director is Bonnie Janofsky. The lead actors are Johnny Ferretti as Lou Goldfarb (SAG-AFTRA), Todd Andrew Ball as Joe Goldfarb, Laura Wolfe as Ann Perino, and Deena Russo as Gail Horowitz.
