Other National Night Out Events in Sherman Oaks and Van Nuys

Continuing a tradition to support the annual community gatherings aimed at reducing crime by increasing community awareness, Los Angeles Council member Paul Krekorian plans to visit a few of the National Night Out sites on Tuesday night.

The Councilmember will also honor 11 firefighters who last year rushed into an electrified pool of water to mitigate loss and injuries as a result of a tragedy that left two good samaritans dead in ValleyVillage. 

Where: The tentative schedule for the Councilman is as follows:

5:30 – 6 p.m.: Studio City NNO, to take place in the parking lot of Pinz Bowling, 12655 Ventura Blvd., Studio City 91604

6:15 – 6:45 P.M.: Katherine Circle NNO, 6753 Katherine Ave., Van Nuys 91405

7 – 7:30 p.m.: Valley Village NNO, Valley Village Park 5100 Westpark Dr., Valley Village 91601. Councilmember Krekorian will also present official, City of Los Angeles certificates to the L.A. Fire Fighters who responded to last year’s tragedy in which two good samaritans were fatally electrocuted and one firefighter injured in Valley Village.
