Palisades-Malibu YMCA Reopens With Modifications

Capacity was limited to 25% as the facility began its reopening process.

PACIFIC PALISADES, CA — The Palisades-Malibu YMCA officially reopened Monday, welcoming back exercise-hungry patrons and those looking to work on their swimming. The YMCA will be open from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Monday through Friday, and will be closed on weekends.

Members will have their temperature taken upon entry, and equipment is spaced further apart to allow for extra distancing. exercise classes will be available in outdoor groups only, and locker rooms and showers will be temporarily unavailable.

As standard with YMCA's across Los Angeles, the facility will be temporarily limited to 25% capacity. The pool will be open for swim lessons only, although that could soon change now that Los Angeles County has progressed to the Orange tier.
