Police Blotter: No Violent Crimes the Past 15 Days

In the seven days between October 11 and October 17, violent crime reports continued to drop and property crimes were about average according to these figures.

Over the last three months, Sherman Oaks averaged 1.8 violent crimes and 28.8 property crimes per week.

This week's rate of 4.7 crimes per 10,000 people is higher than Encino, Studio City, Valley Glen and Valley Village.

The population of Sherman Oaks is estimated to be slightly more than 65,000 residents.
