Second Week of May Brings the Heat
Sherman Oaks residents can expect to see temperatures near 90 degrees this week.
Sunglasses, sunscreen and suntans will all be in abundance this week, as the second week of May, according to the National Weather Service, is expected to bring the heat.
After a cloudy morning, Monday’s forecast is sunny with a high of 80.
Tuesday’s forecast calls for sunny skies and temperatures are expected to reach a high of 88. Wednesday’s high is 84.

The heat will mellow a bit come Thursday, which is expected to see a high of 78. Friday calls for sunny skies and a high of 77.
