STUDIO CITY, CA — Former Sherman Oaks Notre Dame High School soccer standout Analyse Talvera was among the 16 houseguests announced by CBS Monday for the 21st season of "Big Brother."

Talvera later played for the University of Nevada.

"Big Brother" follows a group of people separated from the outside world, living together in a house on the CBS Studio Center lot in Studio City outfitted with 94 high-definition cameras and 113 microphones, recording their every move 24 hours a day.

One houseguest is voted out each week. The last remaining houseguest will receive the $500,000 grand prize.

The "Big Brother" season premiere will air at 8 p.m. June 25. A second episode will air at 8 p.m. June 26. The first weekly eviction show will air at 8 p.m. July 3. Beginning July 10, "Big Brother" will air at 9 p.m. Wednesdays and Thursdays and 8 p.m. on Sundays.
