Valley Of Change To Host Weekend Of Giving Back In Sherman Oaks
The organization will hand out food to unhoused residents next weekend, before doing a community cleanup the next day.
SHERMAN OAKS, CA — The Valley of Change will host a pair of community-focused events to bring some beauty to Sherman Oaks next weekend. On May 15, the Valley of Change will host another "Feed Our Friends In Need," aiming to feed 400 unhoused Sherman Oaks residents.
Participants can sign up to bring sandwiches, chips, granola bars, tangerines, water and similar items on May 15 from 9 a.m. until 9:15 a.m. Items can be brought to the "little corner of change" at the intersection of Sepulveda Boulevard and Ventura Boulevard outside the Sherman Oaks Galleria.
Monetary donations can also be made via this link, or by check to Latora Green at the same intersection.

On May 16, the Valley of Change will host their monthly community cleanup, starting at Kester Ave and Ventura Boulevard. The cleanup will run from 8:30 a.m. until 10 a.m. and gloves and trash bags will be provided.
