VIDEO: Vespa Dealer Still No. 1 in U.S.

Vespa of Sherman Oaks, at 13629 Ventura Blvd., has again been ranked the top-selling Vespa dealer in the nation, according to David Meyer, the shop's owner.

"We sell more Vespas than anyone, because people in L.A. need to find a cheaper, easier way to get around town," Meyer said. He and his wife, Linda, say that the rise in gasoline prices over the past year has stimulated greater demand for the scooters they sell.
