The following is an edited press release from Flip Flop Shops.
The newest addition to the Westfield Fashion Square Mall in Sherman Oaks is Flip Flop Shops, which will open its doors on Thursday.

“The decision to open another Flip Flop Shops in California was simple—local consumers are just as passionate about freeing their toes as we are at Flip Flop Shops,” Rashidian said. “Flip flops are a total extension of who I am and my lifestyle. I live, work and play with my toes exposed, and wouldn’t have it any other way.”
In Rashidian's eyes, flip flops have grown to become the “global youth uniform,” as well as accepted footwear for anyone ranging from surfers to high-level corporate executives.

“Flip flops are an essential part of the everyday scene in Southern California,” Rashidian said. “Our goal is to make finding the perfect pair of flip flops a breeze."
In addition to the Sherman Oaks location, company plans call for significant expansion throughout the California market. With six shops currently operating throughout the state, the new shop is the first of 12 scheduled to open within the next year. In addition to these locations, the company plans to open another 15 shops in the Southern California area within the next three-to-five years.
