Yes, Meghan Really Worked At Humphrey Yogart
The former Meghan Markle told Oprah Winfrey that she gained her work ethic while employed at the Sherman Oaks-based company during the '90s.

SHERMAN OAKS, CA — Oprah Winfrey's interview with Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, and Prince Harry on Sunday was full of bombshell revelations about the British royal family, but perhaps the biggest one involved a Sherman Oaks-based frozen yogurt shop called Humphrey Yogart.
Meghan said she gained her work ethic as a teenager slinging the confection in Los Angeles sometime in the mid-1990s. “Thank God I had that life experience. Thank God I had known the value of working,” she said. “My first job was when I was 13 at a frozen yogurt shop called Humphrey Yogart.”
Twitter users quickly latched onto the fact that the Duchess of Sussex formerly known as Meghan Markle got her start at the pun-filled store, named after "Casablanca" and "The Maltese Falcon" actor Humphrey Bogart.

"There is a 100 percent chance I purchased [yogurt] from her" around 1994, Karina Longworth said.
R. Eric Thomas said the shop's name was "straight out of 'The Good Place,'" an NBC comedy known in part for its background gag of punny restaurant names such as Beignet and the Jets, From Schmear to Eternity and Biscotti Pippen.

My official statement on this evening’s news: if Meghan Markle worked at Humphrey Yogart circa 1994, there is a 100 percent chance I purchased yogart from her. That is all I can say on this matter.

At one time, Humphrey Yogart had multiple locations across the Los Angeles area, including stores in Northridge and Santa Monica and on Melrose Avenue, according to LAist. Meghan worked at the Beverly Connection store on La Cienega Boulevard, which has long since been closed.
The last remaining Humphrey Yogart can be found at a Gelson's Market in Sherman Oaks, where the company was started by husband and wife duo Maria and Raphael Baker in 1984, LAist reported. The location changed hands in 1986 to another couple, Paula and Jim Sheftel, who still run the Sherman Oaks store.
Since Meghan mentioned the shop, Paula Sheftel told LAist the store’s phone has been ringing nonstop. It’s unknown if Meghan's mention will lead to a bump in customers at the shop. But back in 2018, the store offered a 50 percent discount for peanut butter and strawberry ice cream in celebration of the former employee’s marriage to Harry.
