Authors' Panel was a bonding experience

The public joined us in our varied experiences

As an author and widely-published poet, my first panel event at Sierra Madre Library was such an enjoyable event. There was none of the competitive feeling I used to feel at performances and readings when I was younger. Everyone there was so supportive of one another.

I feel a strong kinship with the other writers. Not one of us is like the others. Our books are radically different, and they ways in which we approach writing and publishing are not the same either.
