Sierra Madre resident Keith Stephens has opened Brio Electric Bikes in Monrovia. The shop specializes in street legal, electric pedal-assist bicycles. The bikes make riding in the foothills less intimidating and are an inexpensive way to commute up to 20 miles each way. They go 15 - 20mph with minimal effort. Recharging the battery takes just a few hours with standard 110 volt plug. Stop by for a test ride. 113 E. Olive Ave (at Myrtle), Monrovia.
