The eatery and live-music venue will be open until Sunday night.
Sunday night will be the last night residents will have to enjoy music and food at , which will be closing, confirmed Illiana Lalli, the wife of the eatery's owner Mario Lalli, Wednesday morning.
The 7-year old cafe is part of the Lalli family business, which began in 1952. In addition to its offerings of Italian-American food, it is also known around town as a solid venue for taking in live music. Various acts included eclectic bands and Grammy-winning guitarists.
Readers and residents first heard talk of Cafe 322's closing over the weekend on radiofishbowl.com, Sierra Madre's internet radio station. As far as Lalli knows, no "farewell" activities or special shows are planned for Cafe 322's last night.
