Powerful Winter Storm Knocks Out Power to Sierra Madre
About seven customers were affected. SoCal Edison is still analyzing the outage.

Southern California Edison on Sunday reported 589 homes and businesses lost power during the storm.
And in the city of Los Angeles, there were about 900 outages in the City of Los Angeles Department of Water and Power coverage area. The first outage reported about 7:30 a.m., utility spokeswoman Vonda Paige told City News Service.
In Edison territory, lights went out in Irwindale, Culver City, Torrance, Sierra Madre, and in the Antelope Valley town of Lake Los Angeles.

The bulk of the outages -- 481 -- were reported in the Lake Los Los Angeles area at 12:07 p.m., with an expected full restoration time of 3:30 p.m., according the utility company’s web site.
About 40 customers in Torrance were in the dark, due to an equipment upgrade that began about 9 a.m. Full restoration was expected by 9:30 p.m.
