Surveillance Video Shows Deadly Pedestrian Hit-and-Run
Watch the video--can you help police identify the car?

LAPD released surveillance video of Tuesday’s deadly hit-and-run accident in the University Park neighborhood. The victim was in a marked crosswalk at West 23rd and Portland streets when he was hit about 9:10 p.m. Tuesday.
Do you recognize the car? Police say it likely sustained major damage to the front, possibly including the windshield. If you recognize the vehicle, contact police immediately.
Authorities have identified the victim as Elias Aceves, 58, of Los Angeles. He died at a hospital, according to coroner’s Assistant Chief Ed Winter.
