COMPTON, CA — At least two people suffered non-life-threatening injuries when a vehicle struck an MTA bus in East Compton Sunday and fled the scene.

The crash occurred at South Atlantic Avenue and East Myrrh Street, the California Highway Patrol reported.

Paramedics dispatched to the scene at 8:55 a.m. rushed at least two injured people from the MTA bus to an area hospital, according to a Los Angeles County Fire Department dispatcher.
