COMPTON (CNS) - Authorities today identified a man who was fatally shot in Compton.
The shooting in the 1000 block of South Norwood Avenue was reported at 10:26 p.m. Monday, said Deputy Irys Alvarez of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Headquarters Bureau.
Anthony Smith, 25, died at the scene, according to the coroner's office. Sheriff's Homicide Bureau detectives were sent to investigate. No arrests were immediately reported.
