The California Highway Patrol reports that all lanes have been reopened on the northbound Long Beach (710) Freeway, near Firestone Boulevard in South Gate.
There was no immediate word on the exact cause of the snarl.

The California Highway Patrol (CHP) has released a SigAlert for the 2 through 4 lanes on the NB Long Beach 710 Freeway, near Firestone Boulevard in South Gate.Â
A big rig fire was stated to be the cause of the alert, according to City News Service.  Â
