
Lockdowns that had been in place at four schools in South Gate due to a burglary at a nearby Walgreens store have been lifted, according to a City News Service report.
The wire service said it spoke to the Los Angeles Unified School District who confirmed that Montara Elementary School at 10018 Montara Ave., Southeast Middle School at 2560 Tweedy Blvd., Southeast Senior High School at 2720 Tweedy Blvd. and Madison Elementary School at 9820 Madison Ave. had all been locked down during the investigation.
