The Long Beach Boulevard Street Improvements Project is a part of the City's Capital Improvement Program. This multi-million investment aims to enhance safety, traffic circulation, rehabilitation and beautification on Long Beach Boulevard, from Tweedy Boulevard to Santa Ana Street. Project improvements include pavement rehabilitation, installing raised, landscaped and hardscaped medians, corridor pedestrian lighting, up-lighting, bike amenities, street trees, storm water quality features, sidewalk and bikeway improvements, bus stops and street furniture. The project is funded with local and federal grant funds.
