Gasoline Price Falls For 39th Consecutive Day
The average gallon costs about $3.86 in LA County.

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County decreased today for the 39th consecutive day, falling three-tenths of a cent to $3.835, its lowest amount since Jan. 30.
The average price is 3.6 cents less than one week ago, 24.7 cents lower than one month ago and 30.2 cents below what it was one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The average price has decreased 28.5 cents over the past 39 days, including four-tenths of a cent on Monday. A 37-day streak of decreases in Orange County ended today when the average price rose two-tenths of a cent to $3.809.
The Orange County average price fell 29.6 cents during the streak, including one-tenth of a cent on Monday.
 The Orange County average price is 3.4 cents less than one week ago, 25.4 cents lower than one month ago and 30.7 cents below what it was one year ago.
