LASD Investigating Shooting in Neighboring Area
Sheriff detectives were spotted in the unincorporated area of Willowbrook, just west of Lynwood.

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - Sheriff's homicide detectives were investigating the shooting death of a man in the Willowbrook, a deputy said on Sunday.
The shooting was reported at 9:39 p.m. Saturday in the 11900 block of Elva Avenue, said Deputy Aura Sierra-Lidman of the Sheriff's Headquarters Bureau.
"The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead,'' Sierra-Lidman said.
