Learn How to Find & Keep a Job at Lynwood Library

Library programs help to assist customers in finding a job.

With every new year that arrives, people always set out with different resolutions and goals they are ready to set and achieve. With 2020 being not only a new year, but also a new decade, the need and desire to accomplish more, might ring truer than ever.

For those who are looking to make a jump in switching careers or finding a job that brings them more joy and passion, Lynwood Library, is offering two career workshops, led by career and life coach, Liz S. Mohler.

The first workshop, "Job Search Success," will introduce attendees to activities that will help in identifying areas of interest as well as making career decisions. Mohler will also go over resume tips and strategies, and common interview questions.

The second workshop, "Networking and the Hidden Job Market," will touch upon what it means to network. Attendees will learn about where and how to find and look for jobs today, and also discover more about online job tools such as LinkedIn.

Both programs are suitable for adults. As with all library programs, the programs are free and open to the public.
