Lynwood Adds Second New EZ Card Kiosk

Payments can be made to the new machine throughout the week.

Lynwood residents and business owners will now have access to a EZ Card and Kiosk Machine to make municipal payments at the Lynwood Recreation Department and Community Center. The latter will be available seven days a week, as oppose to the other EZ Card and Kiosk Machine located within Lynwood City Hall, which is unavailable from Friday to Sunday.

“By providing residents with this new machine at the Community Center - that’s open seven days a week - we’re trying to accommodate residents who can’t make it to City Hall by 5:30 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays to make their City bill payments,” said Edwin Hernandez, Lynwood’s city treasurer in press release. “People won’t have to worry about getting their payment into the City first thing Monday morning.”

Through the new machine the community is currently only able to be used for water bills. However, a city issued press release states that the machine will within a "few months" be programmed to also allow for citation and business license payments. Users can use cash, credit or debit cards to pay their fees.
