Detectives Seek Help in Search for Lynwood Woman
She was last seen Aug. 21 on Carilin Avenue.

Homicide detectives from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department are asking the public to help locate a missing woman who was last seen in Lynnwood.Â
Mary Virginia Course was last seen on foot in the 4200 block of Carlin Avenue in Lynwood on Wednesday, Aug 21, around 7 a.m. and she has not been heard from since, according to a news release.
Course suffers from dementia and her family is very concerned for her safety. She is an 81-year-old black woman who is 5' 06" and weighs about 145 pounds. She was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweater, black pants, and black shoes.
