Detectives Seek Help in Search for Lynwood Woman

Homicide detectives from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department are asking the public to help locate a missing woman who was last seen in Lynnwood. 

Mary Virginia Course was last seen on foot in the 4200 block of Carlin Avenue in Lynwood on Wednesday, Aug 21, around 7 a.m. and she has not been heard from since, according to a news release.

Course suffers from dementia and her family is very concerned for her safety. She is an 81-year-old black woman who is 5' 06" and weighs about 145 pounds. She was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweater, black pants, and black shoes.
