School Briefly Locked Down During Search For Burglar In Carson
The suspect was last seen hopping a fence, officials said.
CARSON, CA — Dolores Street Elementary students in Carson were kept inside their classrooms Tuesday while deputies established a perimeter to find a burglary suspect in the area.
The man, who is approximately 30 years old, broke into a garage in the area of 223rd Street and Dolores Street, according to the Carson Sheriff's Station.
Deputies established a perimeter shortly before 3 p.m., but the area was cleared by 3:15 p.m., according to the station.

The suspect was last seen hopping a fence toward 223rd Street and was not taken into custody, the station reported.
