South Gate Pilar Avalos & Denise Diaz "The Beltran Connection"

We have all heard the term : D.U.I., Driving Under the Influence. There is a similar term, in the political word know as "G.U.I." Governing Under the Influence. South Gate Councilman Hurtado has made it known, to all ,of the influence Beltran has with with Avalos and Diaz.

Pilar Avalos who was recently found to be misleading and flat out lying to the residents of South Gate about her educational credentials and (not so)professional background has been linked to Beltran according to sources and public statements made by other city officials such as South Gate City Councilman Gil Hurtado. These include findings showing that Avalos campaign was heavily supported by Beltran. Beltran is said to continue to control Avalos to this very day. A statement that Avalos does not deny at all. Avalos is know as an opportunist and will take anything from anyone who can further her political status, by doing everything she is told to do in exchange.

More recently Avalos dropped her given name of Maria and ran for South Gate City Council as Pilar Avalos due to the fact it was found that when she ran for Downey Unified School District Board. She lied about her credentials and her residency.

Denise Diaz has a long history with Beltran and has been seen at many events with him. It would be of no surprise that Diaz may have introduced Avalos to him during her campaign. Especially since Diaz was heavily involved with Avalos's campaign and that involvement was the main reason Avalos won. Avalos was unknown and had "done nothing "in South Gate, California. Many believe that Avalos also won due to confusion in name recognition. Pilar Avalo's sister is long time South Gate City Clerk Carmen Avalos who had previously ran and won her re-election campaign. Another fraud has made it's way into South Gate.

There are five council members in the city of South Gate with a majority three out of five votes to approve contracts. Diaz and Avalos are under the influence of Beltran and it is rumored Al Rios is also working with them to secure his position in South Gate as the next Mayor not to mention lifting Pilar Avalos to the status of Vice Mayor of South Gate. These three under his control will be a disaster for South Gate.
