“Despite gains in the overall job market, it is teens that still have the highest unemployment rate,” said a statement from Bank of America Bank. “In response to this pressing issue, Bank of America created its Student Leaders Program.”

The program allows a select group of high school students to participate in a leadership program at a local nonprofit. All students also attend a weeklong Bank of America Student Leadership Summit in Washington, D.C.
