Suspect Fatally Shot by Deputies in Lynwood

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department (LASD) has publicly stated that deputies fatally shot a man in Lynwood this afternoon. The shooting took place at the 4000 block of Agnes Avenue in Lynwood at around 3 p.m.

Detectives from the from the LASD homicide bureau are at the scene investigating the circumstances that led to the shooting.

No law enforcement officers were injured during the shooting. The suspect was pronounced dead upon his arrival to a nearby hospital.
