TGI Fridays Opens in Freestanding Building in South Gate

After much anticipation, the TGI Fridays at Azalea Regional Shopping Center is opening today.

The new location situated on a freestanding pad within the center includes a new contemporary design with a dramatically redesigned bar as the focal point of the restaurant.

“We’re all about providing our guests with great food, top bartenders crafting the finest cocktails and a uniquely fun service experience provided by the best team in the business – an experience the people of this community love so much,” said Brad Honigfeld, chief executive officer of The Briad Group, Fridays franchisee.

“Now with our new look, innovative new food and drinks, and energized teams, we’re taking the Fridays experience to the next level, and we’re incredibly excited to bring this to our guests in South Gate.”

The new Fridays in South Gate features the brand’s newest contemporary design, including an open flame hearth oven for a new line of gourmet pizzas, an open kitchen, a larger, more open bar as a focal point for the entire restaurant and a beautiful outdoor patio that includes a 9 foot fire pit, 3 lave heaters, lounge seating made of gorgeous teak furniture. Tailored to the South Gate community, the location is part of a larger restaurant reimaging campaign taking place at Fridays over the next couple of years.

The new Fridays is located at the Azalea Regional Shopping Center, 4635 Firestone Blvd. in South Gate.
