Vacant South Gate City Council Seat
Who will fill the vacancy? It's not too late to apply

During the South Gate City Council meeting held on Tuesday, September 24, 2019, an announcement was made that there was a need to fill a vacant city council seat. At the previous City Council meeting, Mayor Jorge Morales resigned his seat and position as Mayor on the Council. He stated that it would be his last official meeting. Hence, the abrupt need to fill the current vacancy.
Council members announced that they will be accepting applications at various locations including online and they may be submitted directly to the City Clerk's office at South Gate City Hall. This is a great opportunity for anyone and everyone interested in the process to apply.
