SOUTH GATE-LYNWOOD, CA – The following is a collection of weekly police, court and fire stories from around the South Gate-Lynwood area this week.

A Gardena man faces up to 300 years in prison for the murder of a woman and rape of three others in bondage-style motel encounters.

Police are warning residents about a man who has been exposing himself to women and girls near Wilson High School.

The California Supreme Court found that the convicted murderer is "intellectually disabled."

A preliminary investigation determined that during a family dispute, the 19-year-old allegedly shot his father with a shotgun, police said.

Students and teachers at Manhattan Beach Middle School sheltered in place as police investigated a threat.
