Be More Than Pink and Join the Fight Against Breast Cancer

The Shops at Montebello continues partnership with Susan G. Komen to support breast cancer awareness and fundraising

There are more than 3.1 million women with a history of breast cancer in the U.S., accordingly to breastcancer.org. As part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, The Shops at Montebello today announced its Be More Than Pink campaign in October.

Visit the center on Saturday, October 21 beginning at 2 p.m. in Center Court for an event dedicated to fashion, music, food and fun with all proceeds benefiting Susan G. Komen. Tickets for this event may be purchased in advance or the day of the event at Guest Services, located on the lower level near Macy’s Home Store. Attendees will receive a swag bag filled with samples, treats and a $10 retailer gift card at the event. Seating is limited.

Shoppers can also pick-up a discount book to shop, support and save from Guest Services, located on the lower level near Macy’s Home Store, between September 29 and October 31. Donate $5 to Susan G. Komen and receive 25% or 15% off of one item from numerous participating retailers such as Coach, Lane Bryant, Things Remembered, Disney Store and H&M.

Komen,” said Marida Petitjean, director of marketing and business development. “Experiences such as Be More Than Pink illustrate how The Shops at Montebello is a destination offering dining and shopping to philanthropy and community events.”
