Burglars Grab Goods While Residents Sleep through Crime
A "hot prowl'' recently occurred in South Pasadena, police say.

Imagine waking up to find that your house was burglarized with you in it—and you never heard a peep.
That's what happened to some residents in the 1100 block of Garfield Avenue on May 26. At some point between 1:30 a.m. and 7 a.m. an unidentified suspect entered the house through unknown means and stole two cameras and a wallet, according to a crime bulletin from South Pasadena Police.
Authorities searched the house for broken or damaged windows and doors, but found nothing. It's possible the residents left their home unlocked. But despite how safe South Pasadena is, police encourage everyone to lock their homes and their cars at all times, authorities have said.
