Based on her diaries during the filming of “Star Wars,” the book’s tidbits about the brief romance paint a picture as contentious as the famed tension between Leia and Han Solo.

According to RadarOnline.com, which obtained an advance copy of the book, the two ended up in bed together after a drunken birthday celebration in London for director George Lucas. The affair lasted for three months.

Ford reportedly told the inexperienced Fisher she was a bad kisser, and she doesn’t offer much flattery in return. But according to RadarOnline, Fisher admits she “relentlessly” tried make Ford love her and fantasized that he would leave his wife for her. That never happened. The relationship ended as soon as the filming was complete.

Ford stayed with his wife Mary Marquardt until 1979. He is now married to Calista Flockart.

Ford and Fisher reunited on the set last year in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens."

Ford has not commented on the revelations.
