City Council Candidates' Forum Tuesday Night
Meet the two incumbents and their rival candidates running in the Nov. 5 municipal elections.

A public forum to meet and ask question of candidates for the South Pasadena City Council elections in November is scheduled today, Tuesday, Oct. 8, starting at 7 p.m. in the Amedee O. "Dick" Richards, Jr., Council Chambers at City Hall, 1424 Mission St. This is the second in a series of candidates' forums—the first one was this past week—and is sponsored by the South Pasadena Chamber of Commerce. A preview mixer is scheduled at 6 p.m. at Reimagine Your Home, the flooring and window designs store located at 1518 Mission St., (626) 799-3656. 2. Board of Education candidates' forum
A public forum to meet and ask questions of candidates for the Nov. 5 South Pasadena Unified School District elections is scheduled on Wednesday, Oct. 9, starting at 7 p.m. at the SPUSD headquarters located at 1020 El Centro St., (626) 441-5810.

3. Senior Citizen Commission meeting
The Senior Citizen Commission is scheduled to meet Wednesday, Oct. 9, at 8:30 a.m. at the South Pasadena Senior Center, located at 1102 Oxley St., (626) 403-7364.

4. Public Works Commission meeting
The City of South Pasadena Public Works Commission is scheduled to meet Wednesday, Oct. 9, at 7 p.m. in the conference room of the City Council Chambers in City Hall, located at 1424 Mission St. The meeting is open to the public.
5. Farmers' Market
The weekly South Pasadena Farmers' Market will be held Thursday, Sept. 19, at and around the intersection of El Centro Street and Meridian from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Come and get your fresh produce and other goodies for the week.
