Eat Out Wednesday, Support So Pas Schools

Patronize any of 27 selected restaurants on Sept. 25 to help boost their sales for a fundraising campaign for local schools.

What’s your favorite local restaurant or café? Chances are it’s on the list of 27 eateries that will be donating 10 percent of their sales throughout Wednesday to South Pasadena’s five public schools.

So here’s the deal: You eat out locally on Wednesday—better still, eat out all day if you possibly can—thereby helping push up sales of the 27 restaurants and cafés participating in a so-called “Food For Thought” campaign.

The restaurants, in turn, will give 10 percent of their sales from the entire day to support South Pas schools.

The campaign is being co-sponsored by the South Pasadena Educational Foundation and the South Pasadena Chamber of Commerce.

They encourage you not just to “eat early” but to “eat often.” You get the picture—make Wednesday the day to meet up with family, friends and coworkers. Over food!
