(SPUSD) is hosting a community meeting 7 p.m. Monday at the district offices to obtain feedback on the development of its parking lot.
All residents who live in the Library/Mission West District are invited to discuss the three current RFPs, which include commercial, residential and recreational use buildings. While a 17-person committee was appointed to review the proposals by Superintendent Joel Shapiro last year, no residents from this area were included.
The goal of the development project is to generate revenue for the district while adding value to the community. Either the district will move forward with one of the three RFPs on the table or it will seek additional proposals at a further date.

Although the actual district building was available for development, none of the RFPs included it in its plans.
