Restoration Concert Sunday

The Spring 2012 Restoration Concert series sponsored by the Friends of South Pasadena Library will continue on Sunday, April 15 with a performance by the Capitol Ensemble—comprising some of Los Angeles’ finest string players and instrumentalists.

The ensemble may be heard regularly on the L.A. County Museum’s ‘Sundays Live’ broadcasts. The April 15 program will include the music of Arensky and Tchaikovsky. 

WHO: Roberto Cani and Julie Gigante, violins; Andrew Duckles and Alma Fernandez, violas; Timothy Landauer and David Low, cellos; (Roberto Cani will kindly take the place, for this concert, of regular ensemble member Phillipe Levy.)

WHAT: The Restoration Concert series is sponsored by the Friends of South Pasadena Public Library, who provide light refreshments. Proceeds from the concert series are dedicated to the ongoing enhancement of the Community Room.
