Joan Wilson, Former SPUSD Superintendent, Dies at 83
Wilson was a popular figure in South Pasadena community affairs.
Joan B. Wilson, a South Pasadena resident who led the South Pasadena Unified School District in the last 1970s and was actively involved in a variety of community affairs ranging from Friends of the Library to the South Pasadena Chamber of Commerce, died July 24, shortly before her 83rd birthday from complications after a fall.
