Here are five things you need to know about what happened:

Odom had been at the brothel for three days

Odom got picked up from a Las Vegas home and was taken Saturday to Love Ranch in Crystal, Nevada, Dennis Hof, the owner, told the Associated Press.

“He just wanted to get away, have a good time and relax,” Hof said.

People around the NBA have reported Odom mysteriously going off the grid for days at a time before, according to a Sports Illustrated piece published after Odom’s incident.

Odom took “up to 10” sexual performance enhancers

A 911 caller said the product was “Reload 72 Hour Strong Sexual Performance Enhancer For Men” and that Odom had “probably taken 10 over a three day period of time.”

Nye County Detective Michael Eisenloffel confirmed that Odom had taken “up to 10” of the pills and told reporters that he is not ruling out a suicide attempt.

The FDA has warned against Reload pills

The FDA published a notice in 2013 “advising consumers not to purchase or use ‘Reload’” sexual enhancement products.

The product contains an ingredient called sildenafil, the active ingredient in Viagra, that — when mixed with nitrates that many men take for chest pain — “may lower blood pressure to dangerous levels.”

Reload is marketed as an “herbal alternative” to Viagra, and the sildenafil was not labeled as an ingredient on the Reload packaging.

He had supposedly also done cocaine

The 911 caller told the dispatcher that Odom had been doing cocaine that weekend. Odom had “blood coming out of his nose and white stuff coming out of his mouth,” the caller said.

Richard Hunter, media director of the Love Ranch, told USA Today that Odom had done cocaine that Saturday but couldn’t say if he had done it since.

Odom has well wishers across the country

Odom’s support has come from Hollywood celebrities like Kris Jenner and Ryan Seacrest.

Odom has also gotten messages from NBA stars like Lebron James and Dwyane Wade.

On Wednesday’s SportsCenter, Scott Van Pelt gave a heartfelt plea to those whoff talk about Odom as a reality TV star instead of a basketball player.

“I understand not everyone watches sports, but ‘Kardashian reality star?’” Van Pelt said. “His name is Lamar Odom, and we knew it, long before he got married on a TV show that we don’t watch.”
