This South Pasadena business staple contains a whirlwind of activity. Patch ducked in for a few minutes to check it out.
Behind the Ellen's Silkscreening storefront, past the shirts, hats and dozens of display items adorned with logos, one can find a massive dryer, presses, workers filling out orders, a multi-needled sewing machine and an art department.
Patch stepped inside for a few minutes and ended up getting a brief tour from owner Ellen Daigle, who was actually en route to a meeting.
Upon mention of all the activity behind her store, she gives the credit to hiring good people "who are at the top of what they do." But even with the best people, how does she still manage to keep everything under control?
