Pedestrian Killed On 10 Freeway Identified

ALHAMBRA, CA — Authorities Tuesday identified a 59-year-old pedestrian who was struck and killed by a vehicle on the eastbound San Bernardino (10) Freeway in Alhambra.

James Jimenez, who was homeless, died at the scene of the collision that occurred about 3:45 a.m. Monday near Atlantic Boulevard, according to the coroner's office and the California Highway Patrol.

All eastbound lanes were closed for about an hour while an investigation was conducted.
