Rep. Judy Chu to Host Free Small Business Workshop in South Pas
The workshop hosted by Congress member Chu on July 12 aims to help local small businesses identify available federal resources.

Rep. Judy Chu is hosting her annual Small Business 101 Workshop at the South Pasadena Library Community Room Friday.
The purpose of the free workshop is to help local small businesses identify available federal resources.

Event registration begins at 8:30 a.m. Friday, and the program begins at 9 a.m. at 1115 El Centro Street, South Pasadena, 91030)

Presentations from 9 a.m. to noon include:
- Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses
- U.S. Small Business Administration
- Small Business Development Center Panel
Chu, a member of the U.S. House Committee on Small Business, represents several communities in Congress including Pasadena, Altadena, South Pasadena, Arcadia, Monrovia, Glendora, Claremont, San Marino and Sierra Madre.

Seating is limited and priority will be given to individuals and/or representatives from local small businesses in the 27th Congressional District, however, all are welcomed, Chu’s office noted in an announcement.

Parking is available at South Pasadena Unified School District's parking lot. The SPUSD district office is located at 1020 El Centro; parking lot entrance is on Fairview Avenue, between Mission Street and El Centro Street.
