South Pasadena Arts Crawl Tomorrow!
Don't miss the South Pasadena Arts Crawl tomorrow, 7/16! From 5pm-8pm in downtown South Pasadena

Summer is here and the July 16th Arts Crawl has arrived. Mission Street will be abuzz with festivities for the event. It’s a free, family-friendly evening with a little something for everyone. Come on out and celebrate the local businesses, artists and musicians that make our city unlike any other!
There will be lots of art to view around town. Don’t miss out on the opening reception at SPARC Gallery (1121 Mission St.) of painter Shaun McCracken’s works. Sugar Mynt Gallery (810 Meridian Ave.) raffles off two Kozyndan Posters and offers a Braid Bar. Old Focals (1110 Mission St.) exhibits the art of Deborah van der Zaag, and the Laurie Hendricks Gallery (1504 Mission St.) showcases a group show, featuring the art of Tom Balderas, Larry Cannon, Chuck Kovacic, Laurie Hendricks, Peggi Kroll Roberts, and Liliana Simanton. While looking at the fine art, check out the new “kids” on the block: Two Kids Coffee offering fine coffee drinks.
The Ironworks Museum (913 Meridian Ave.), in collaboration with The South Pasadena Preservation Foundation, presents the 2015 fantasy comedy “Goosebumps,” beginning at 8:30pm. The park will also feature a free family yarn art project, led by Ann Storc and Cathy Perlmutter. Activities include making a giant scarf for the Walking Man statue, as well as a traditional Indian craft, Ojo de Dios. On the museum lawn is a mini Artisan’s Corner with jewelry designers Christine Yelich Roberts and Anita Finnegan, and yarn and felted soap maker Anne Schwarz. Also on hand are reps from South Pasadena Beautiful who can tell you about their beautification and tree planting projects around town.

These are a few of the many Crawl activities taking place tomorrow night. So, come on down for a summer night celebration, and make sure to bring your dancing shoes! Most of the galleries and businesses in the Arts Crawl are on easily walkable Mission Street, with others on Fair Oaks, Fremont Avenue and Meridian.
The quarterly Arts Crawls are presented by the South Pasadena Chamber of Commerce, and produced by SPACE, to provide a showcase for artists and musicians and to highlight the city’s unique business district.
