South Pasadena Unified School District Shares Welcome Back, Tigers
Students in grades 9-12 attended classes, greeted friends, and took one more step toward returning to a typical school day.
April 16, 2021
On Thursday, April 15, 2021, SPHS faculty and staff welcomed back students in Cohort B to in-person instruction. Students in grades 9-12 attended classes, greeted friends, and took one more step toward returning to a typical school day. Last week, the students learned about all of the new safety measures on campus during orientation sessions led by Principal Janet Anderson, and Assistant Principals Janet Wichman and David Speck.
Whether attending in-person (Cohort B) or at home, students will continue to follow the block schedule with even classes meeting on Friday. All periods will meet on Monday and Cohort A returns to campus on Tuesday, April 20, 2021.
Thank you to the teachers, staff, students, and parents who helped make the reopening a huge success. We have missed the students so much and are thrilled that all grades in the District are back on campus.
Go, Tigers!
