
1. Preschool Storytime
The South Pasadena Public Library will host a special storytime for children between three and five years of age from 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. today, Thursday, Jan. 23, in the library's children's section, located at 1100 Oxley St. Besides reading age-appropriate stories, children's librarians will share fingerplays, songs, flannelboard stories and book-related videos with children in a group setting. The event is free and open to the public.
2. Farmers Market
The weekly South Pasadena Farmers Market will be held today, Thursday, Jan. 23, at and around the intersection of El Centro Street and Meridian from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. From fresh produce and flowers to food and entertainment, it’s the perfect way to kick start the weekend.
