Thank You South Pasadena Unified School District Faculty & Staff
This year, our teachers have shown remarkable resilience and strength as they faced unprecedented challenges.

During the SPUSD Board Meeting on Tuesday, May 11, 2021, members of the school board approved two resolutions saluting the contributions of both teachers and classified school employees.
The “Day of the Teacher” resolution emphasizes that South Pasadena teachers instill in our students a love of learning, an appreciation of the richness of cultural diversity, a respect for the environment, and the skills to pursue higher education and productive careers. This year, our teachers have shown remarkable resilience and strength as they faced unprecedented challenges.
Recognizing the commitment of classified employees, the second, board-approved resolution discusses how our staff contributes immeasurably to the health, safety, and well-being of students through their dedication and professionalism in carrying out their many and varied job responsibilities assisting children and young people in classrooms and through various support services. This year, all of our classified employees have stepped up to the challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic and proven to be essential workers serving our students and schools.
Over the past few weeks to show extra thanks, the District and individual school PTAs have provided our teachers and staff with celebratory, COVID-safe breakfasts and lunches to show our gratitude for their extraordinary efforts.
Thank you SPUSD faculty and staff!
