'The Bomb' Rumbles Into South Pas

A special vehicle used by film crews to position lights up to 60 feet high rolled down El Centro Street, by the South Pasadena Public Library Wednesday, raising more than a few eyebrows among passersby.

Called The Bomb, the vehicle was there for the filming of a public interest commercial regarding teachers, a film crew member told South Pasadena Patch.

The one-day filming, in the presence of South Pasadena Police officers, is taking place on the sidewalk along Kaldi's coffee shop and in the park adjacent to the South Pasadena Community Center. It'll all be over by 8 p.m., according to the crew member.
